CAR WRAP SPECIALISTS IN HOUSTON…CHANGE THE COLOR OF YOUR CAR!

Vinyl wrapping allows you to change the color of your vehicle without having to go through the hassle of actually painting it.

As great as painting a car is, it can also lead to problems of the resale value going down, the quality of work not holding up, and can be very costly.

When you wrap your vehicle, you dramatically change the appearance and if you’re ever tired of it or want to change the color again, you simply peel off the wrap and do it again. If your main goal is to protect your vehicle from rock chips, paint protection film (PPF) might be the better option for you.

There are hundreds of color options for you to choose from! You can go gloss, matte, chrome, or color shifting. There’s no right or wrong answer here. If your car is white, you can change it to a matte black or you can go with a high-gloss pink. Whatever you want!

You don’t even have to do the whole vehicle! You can just wrap your hood, or hood and roof, or hood and mirrors. This is really all preference based on how you want your car to look. You could get your hood and roof wrapped, the windows tinted, and the rest of the vehicle gets paint correction.

You can also ceramic coat the vinyl film for extra gloss and make the wash process much easier.

The Benefits of Car Wraps

Protects your Paint: The primary goal with vinyl wraps is to change the color of your vehicle. But a byproduct of that is it also protects the OEM paint from rock chips and bird droppings.

Temporary Color Change: Car wrapping is the easiest way to dramatically change the appearance of your vehicle without making it permanent. You can change the color every 6 months or 3 years!

Unique Style: There are hundreds of options to choose from to match your unique style. You can go with a crazy color like chrome, color shifting, or just a nice high-gloss finish. The options are endless!

Tinting your windows can also add to the overall aesthetics of your vehicle.

Car Wrap FAQs

  • Paint protection film (PPF) is 10mm thick and is meant to protect your paint from debris like rock ships. If your main goal is to protect your paint, PPF is the way to go. Vinyl wrap is 3mm thick and the primary purpose is to change the appearance of your vehicle.

That being said, even though vinyl film is thinner, it does protect your vehicle from rock ships and debris (just not as much as PPF because of the thickness).

  • Vinyl film does not damage your vehicle. But like with most things, if you don’t take care of it, can cause some damage or inconveniences. Vinyl film, depending on the brand, can last between 3 to 5 years. If the car is always sitting outside and you leave the film on for too long, the film can start fading, cracking, and be a pain to remove. But if it is taken care of over the timespan, when it comes time to remove the film, will not cause any damage.

  • We use a variety of films based on the color you want. Every brand will offer slightly different colors or texture. Some of the brands we use are 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, Cheetah Wrap, Tiny Boy, and more.

We do not add any extra charge to the film we order. You pay for just the material alone. Depending on the film you want, we may even get a small discount. That gets passed on right to you.

  • It can take between a few hours to a few days! It’s all dependent on the vehicle we’re working on and the type of coverage we’re doing. If you only want your hood wrapped, that can be done in an hour. If you want the entire vehicle wrapped, that can take 5 days.
